Our oceans
hold millions of living organisims, from tiny bacteria to whales and as far as
life is concerned, the oceans are the earth.
These oceans though, were formed millions of years after the Earth took
shape (around 4.5 billion years ago). The water in the ocean was said to arrive
in frozen lumps from space during one of the most violent episodes in our
planets early history.
