Just a load of hot air?

The race is on! Fossil fuels are running out fast, energy prices are increasing, energy demand is increasing. We need to find new and more efficient ways of producing energy. And ways that are sustainable for future generations.

As you can see from the graph we have to increase our use of solar, wind and geothermal in order to make up for the shortfall in fossil fuels.

But this technology is still relatively new. Research is still being carried out to make them more efficient and cost effective. Investors are not too sure which technology to put their money into. Also fossil fuels are still quite cheap and so research into alternative sources of energy is slow.

So I was delighted to hear of another possible way of generating electricity that is free of carbon emissions.
