Would you eat an insect?

7.1 billion people and counting......

That's the size of the human population and it doesn't show any signs of slowing down soon. We all like a bit of steak, (except for the vegetarians among us), or at least a healthy supply of protein. But with fish supplies dwindling and the environmental damage caused by cattle farming (deforestation, overgrazing, soil erosion, desertification, release of methane, increased greenhouse effect, global warming, climate change........)

So where will we get our meat-type protein..........?

Cockroach anybody?

This is what they have started to serve in a restaurant in Paris no less. But we will all have to develop a taste for these crunchy critters if we want to have our meat and eat it and not slow cook the planet.

Read more about this at:

Lastly, what's the difference between feeding a warm blooded creature like a cow to a cold blooded creature like an insect?
Do the energetic maths!!!
